Community Financial Credit Union Branches to Serve as Additional Donation Locations for Thanksgiving on the Mayflower Campaign

Plymouth, MI – Community Financial Credit Union is well on their way to providing the Michigan based non-profit organization Gleaners Community Food Bank with a truck-load of food!

Community Financial’s metro area locations are accepting non-perishable food items from credit union members and the entire community now through November 15, 2013 to contribute to Gleaners’ Thanksgiving on the Mayflower campaign.

“It has been very rewarding to see our credit union members and community actively helping us give to those in need…To lend more support, Community Financial team members making a food donation may participate in a special dress down day on Friday,” said marketing manager, Sarah Cousineau.

The local branches of Community Financial started accepting donations on November 4. All food collected at the Community Financial locations will be used to help fill the Thanksgiving on the Mayflower truck. Premier Mayflower Trucking is providing trucks for this annual food drive event.

By sponsoring the annual Thanksgiving on the Mayflower campaign for Gleaners Community Food Bank, Community Financial branches are serving as additional drop-off locations for food items. Donate at any metro Detroit Community Financial location:
